STAR electrical Conduit pipes are made of uPVC (Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) to meet the harsh environments. These conduit pipes are durable and feature power resistance, are corrosion-free, and are thermally resistant. These pipes are easy and fast to install.
Fire is one of the major hazards to life and property, and electrical installations are perhaps one of the primary sources for the generation and propagation of fire. Protection of cables and raceways against fire is therefore a primary consideration in the design and industry standards. STAR conduit pipes and fittings have good impact strength, superior light proofing, and chemical resistance. They have high heat deflection temperature and ductile behaviour even at low temperatures. STAR uPVC electrical conduit pipes are available in three different wall thicknesses. The thin wall variety is suitable for embedded use in concrete, and heavier grades are ideal for direct burial and exposed work. STAR conduit pipes and fittings resist moisture and most corrosive substances
STAR conduit pipes are manufactured following Bureau of Indian Standards specifications IS 9537: 3 in the range of 2.0 cm to 6.3 cm with light, medium, and heavy ranges. Thicknesses with the thin-wall variety are only suitable for embedded use in concrete. Available sizes are 20 mm and 25 mm.
